Pricing

$6, because Bel does fewer things.

The big general assistants cost around $20 a month because they also write software and serve enterprise teams. Bel does neither. The free tier below is a real plan, not a funnel — no card required, ever, to use it.

The house rules, written down

  • No card required. Free is free without payment details. Even the Everyday trial starts without a card — we ask only when you decide to pay.
  • Cancel in one click. Inside the product, in settings. No retention flow, no "are you sure" maze, no chat with an agent. Paid access runs to the end of the month you paid for.
  • No annual lock-in. Billing is monthly, and the monthly price is the price you see first. If we ever add an annual discount, the monthly option stays right next to it.
  • The limit is announced before it bites. On the free plan Bel tells you when you reach 28 of 30 messages. At the cap it says so plainly and waits until tomorrow — it never goes silent mid-reply.

The comparison we allow ourselves

Against the big assistants: price and free tier only

A leading general assistant costs about $20 a month, with a free tier that throttles quickly. Bel Everyday is $6, and the Bel free plan is 30 messages a day, every day. We will not compare model benchmarks, because Bel is not trying to win them — it is trying to do your errands.

Honest FAQ

The awkward questions, answered

What counts as one message?

One message is one thing you send. A request with an attachment is still one message. Bel's replies do not count, and follow-up chips do not count until you send one. Editing and re-sending your own message counts as a new one.

What happens when I hit the free daily cap?

Bel warns you at 28 of 30, so the limit never arrives as a surprise. At 30, Bel says it is done for the day and finishes the reply it is on. Everything resets at midnight in your timezone. Your conversations stay — nothing is deleted or locked.

Is the free plan going to shrink later?

Free is the product's foundation, not a promotion. If the limits ever change, existing free accounts keep the terms they signed up under for at least a year, and we announce changes on this page, not in a footnote.

How exactly do I cancel?

Settings → Subscription → Cancel. One click, effective immediately, access until the end of the paid month. The same screen lets you delete your account and all data entirely if you want that instead.

What does "longer memory" mean on paid plans?

Free remembers within the current conversation. Everyday remembers useful context across conversations — your name, that you prefer short replies, the ongoing invoice saga — until you tell it to forget. Memory is visible and editable in settings, and deleting your account deletes all of it.

Why is there no lifetime deal?

Because "lifetime" deals are how services die or get sold. Monthly pricing keeps the incentives pointed the right way: we keep earning the $6.
